Dear All,

I know the waiting is too stressing but today I got a good news from Texas.

One of the professors in the admission committee contacted me saying he will try to nominate me for a fellowship and he invited me to visit the school in a couple of weeks.

Of course nothing official yet, but I read even somewhere else that some depts has a sort of deadline 1.31 for graduate fellowships.

since it is not official please understand that I don't feel confident about including many details, just want to say that it is not a program in Finance nor Accounting. It is not my top shot but maybe the second or the third.

Be sure that whenever I will have an official offer in my hands I am going to share with you all my happiness.

btw I feel better today than yesterday

another professor from the same school wrote to me today.

no official offer yet.. but he wrote nice things as well...

nothing official.... I said.. and believe I feel better than 3 days ago, but still in the Limbo.

anyway, I wrote email to graduate coordinators at other programs, and apparently some of them are really doing things slowlier.. No decision is attended till the first week of March.

umm , this is at austin right? McCombs? Congratulations. I wish I got any sort of reply but there has been complete radio silence from all my schools... looks like I will not get in anywhere...

won't say any school till any offer has come.. it's in Texas.. anyway...

anyway two schools told me it's very early and the impression I got from those emails from Texas, is that my application had been forwarded to some people who were actually interested... then the next step supposedly is the admission committee where these professors, hopefully, are gonna try to support an offer for me.

nope!

they wrote me without any solicitation... that's why I feel positive even if waiting for something concrete.
