Math Book

What is the difference between Stewart's Calc Book and his Calc Early Transcendentals?

I never had a class with the early trans. book, but I think it's single variable only if memory serves correctly. If you're looking to buy a book for self-study, you'll probably want the multi-variable/vector valued functions book rather than the single variable one.

I wonder how much Stewart is pulling in on royalties. His books are very widely used it seems.
