AT: Come now, your profile is way better than mine and I got into a CS program when I don't even have a CS degree. The Stern interview was ok. Nothing great. I fumbled a bit when asked about recent happenings in MIS and just spoke about my own research.  Also, there were 2 professors on the line and one of them had a very funny accent - I mean, I can understand any form of US accent but this guy had a really weird one - the phone connection also wasn't great and they called me whilst I was on my way to college !! On the whole, mediocre interview - lets see what happens !! |

The thing about UCSC is that my sister lives 45 minutes from it so although they are offering only 20k per year, I might be able to save it if I live with my sister (who will pay my rent since I am a ickle little brother !!
