I also haven't had any news from the following schools: Duke, UIUC, BC, Rochester, Minnesota, and Emory. Has anybody heard from these schools?
Satisficer it depends to which schools you applied. In my case for example Emory interviews all applicants in their campus at the end of February or beginning of March, so I fear if I don't get an interview invitation this week it means I'm out. For the schools that conduct phone interviews I think there is still some time. |

Thanks for the info, Ginmanga.
![]() Are you saying that b-schools usually interview people before making final decisions? If this is the case, will it be safe to say that you're OUT if there's still no interview (through phone or in person) by the end of the month? |

Of course there are many schools where the interview is a mandatory step of the application. we can only wait ![]()

But she came and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, help me." And he answered, "It is not fair to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." She said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus answered her, "O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire." --Mt 15, 25-28a

I don't know if all b-schools conduct interviews, but many of them do. Some of them state it very clearly in their websites like Emory, and others do not give any info. So I can't generalize to all b-schools.
I don't know when you should count yourself out, but I myself will try remain calm till the first week of March(Judging by Gradcafe the first week of March has a lot of action). If I don't have any news by then I will be really worried. For now I'm picking some pointers from a very stressed friend of mine. Some good whiskey or ale to help calm the nerves and stop refreshing my e-mail every two minutes. |

Hey all!
Wow, so much action. About the interviews, it depends on the school and the department/program. As I said before here, I was accepted to Tepper without an interview. So, still early to freak out. I will be interviewing Kellogg Management and Org. on the 2nd. So if anybody has any experience with them, it would be really appreciated. |
