Has anybody heard back from B-schools?
Dearest all,
The PhD in Business forum has been extremely quiet regarding admissions/interviews/rejects. I have a friend (Marketing) who's been accepted at Fuqua and called to interview at Kellogg and UBC. Another friend (Finance/B-Econ) has already had interviews at Stanford and HBS, and has been rejected from Columbia. But I have not heard anything 'til now...  I have applied to several PhD programs including Fuqua (Decision Sciences), Stanford GSB (Econ Analysis & Policy) and Tepper (Economics), all of which seemingly have begun to accept applicants. Since I haven't heard anything so far, thinking how small --1 to 8 acceptances each year-- these programs are, does it mean I am screwed?  Help, please!

hi...
from what i have understood...when you hear from univs. also depends on when the committee goes through your file in the process....so you should wait out the entire duration, like mid feb to mid march, to hear from them... it is a little like waiting for your bag at the airport carousel  ...hang in there... |

As I said I already received emails and invitation to spend a couple a days at a BS in the UTexas system.. no offer yet.. and I have been rejected from CMU financial economics... that's all..
my guess is that we are gonna see most on the movements in the next two weeks. |

Offers from Wharton's Management program and OSU's program in International Business;
