Interview with NYU Stern - Just received a few moments ago (AKA Almost Heart Attack)

FWIW, coworker of mine was just accepted to the Stern strategy/econ program earlier in the week - to my knowledge, she didn't have an interview or anything first.

This means you're shortlisted......this is stupendous.....be as natural and honest as you can. Tell them you dream of academia, and that you wanna spend the rest of your life as a professor in the US.

PS: B-schools interview less than 15 applicants for about 2-4 slots... congrats!!!!!!

Thanks everyone, seriously. Well, there you go, I don't have much knowledge about this interview thing. I always thought that there was only interviews for MBA candidates. Looks like I was wrong. I will give it my best shot though.

To the other poster who asked:

I think that they make each track decision separately, for obvious reasons. I also think that sure shot candidates do not need interviews and are admitted.

So 27th February 2008 it is !! Lets see !!
