Ph.D. marketing applicant. Evaluate profile, please!
Undergraduate school: Berkeley
Undergraduate GPA: 3.5 Master's (social sciences) school: Princeton Master's GPA: 3.6 GRE Verbal: 530 GRE Quantitative: 780 GRE Analytical: 6.0 Excellent letters of recommendations, one from my master's advisor at Princeton, who is well known. In fact, I am applying to marketing programs to work with advisors who graduated (got their PhDs) from the same program as my own advisor. Very close circle, all in similar if not exact same research fields. Excellent research experience. One publication already forthcoming in a 2nd tier social sciences journal (related to my interests in marketing). I do have 2 Cs in undergrad and one C+ at Princeton. Those Cs were in unrelated fields (i.e., in a biology class when I'm a social sciences/marketing person). Otherwise, all my other Princeton coursework were A-/As. Will my research strengths and excellent LOR be sufficient? I'm applying to: Stanford, Northwester, UBC, Western Ontario, Toronto, Stern/NYU and Columbia. Thanks, y'all! |
