Hi, folks
I am accepted to LSE's MSc. Economics(1yr) program. But it's a conditional offer; they need a proof of graduation and final grade of higher than B+. Those conditions are highly satisfiable, but why is it conditional? I am a senior and will take a couple of summer courses. Is this the reason? Just want to know what other senior guys get.

That's exactly the reason! If you apply without your final results, i.e. directly out of college, all offers will be conditional. The same is true for undergraduate applications. There, offers are conditional on your A-Level results, or APs if you're American.
B+ is actually a "nice" offer. The MSc in Economics is one of the few courses for which LSE demands first class honours from British undergraduates...that's something like a GPA of 3.7-3.8 and more (on a scale from 0 to 4).
Congrats on your offer Econorom! Are you going to accept it? If so, we might meet in September...as long as I get that damn first...
Thank you for comments.
I'm not sure. I am waiting for ph.d results, though getting into any one of the schools I applied to is not highly likely.
Even if I go to LSE, cost matters a lot. The cost difference bewteen going to U of Toronto, UBC, or Queens and LSE is almost $40,000 CAD, roughly.
I really don't know where to go, if I am only admitted to Masters' programs.
Let's see how things go.
good luck guys.
