If I'm capable of getting in, I hope to be able to work with Joel Waldfogel. He seems to be an active researcher and has written some really interesting papers! For those who applied to the Wharton Ph.D., who attracted you to the program?

It seems that the decisions for the PhD in Management at Wharton are out on applyourself.

It might apply to other PhD programs as well.

Woo, you had my heart skip a beat. No, the results aren't out for AE yet.

I've heard that we are only making admit decisions for AE in a week or two. I guess this could change, but for now, don't panic if you don't hear back and, you know, spend time optimizing over your other choices first!

Same here. I was contacted by a prof in another Wharton department saw my app for Applied Econ and thought I might be a good fit in his department. I spoke to him on the phone about it yesterday.

He said that his department would be making their decisions next week, and that that was earlier than most other Wharton programs.
