good point, i was just going by the fact that I assumed Zmoney and Seabrook would be much stronger candidates than me given their admits. And if they were much stronger and had letters on the way while I didn't, they must be getting good news and my bad (or maybe not so good) news would come later.
Of course, I need to avoid the trap of assuming admits/rejections until I hear official word... |

I just got a strange e-mail from Hideo Konishi saying that they are not making an offer of admission or funding to me at this time, because they feel I will receive better offers. They are 'open' to making an offer to me at a later time if I am interested.
It's definitely news, but I'm not really sure what to make of that (or what to put on the admissions/rejections thread!). I like the program a lot and it would be great to have a Boston option as my fiance is strongly considering MIT for chemistry. I e-mailed my advisor and asks him what he thinks about it.

There's an admission on GC. It says the notification was made via E-mail. Weird, since the website clearly says the send notifications only through postal service. BC is one of my biggest hopes, how stressful!

Congrats to those who have heard good news!
I have no news and nothing on my Agora...Still, if the e-mails are very personalized it may just mean it is taking some time to send them all out! |
