Just checked the Agora status checker for Boston College and it says my decision letter is in the mail! They do not do notification through email or phone it says as well.

Much like there application process so 1980's

Lets hope its a funded offer! I would be very pleased!

Same here. I believe they only make funded offers mostly in the form of TAships.

Thanks for the update, it's asking me for an ID and my DOB... I know my DOB (hee hee!) but not what my ID is... where did you get your ID?

It should be your Social Security # if you have one... otherwise I'm not sure. They should have sent you an email when you submitted your application, which would tell you.

I'm international so I don't have a SSN :-( I checked my emails and I can't find anything but an application fee receipt from them... They have been in touch cause they lost some of my materials but they confirmed they received everything safe and sound eventually.

I suppose if it's coming via old-school mail, then I just have to wait... :-)

If you're international, the ID number is not your social security #. They don't email it to you either. The ID number is simply your application number. When you submitted your app, there should have been an App ID # on the PDF form (I think at the bottom). If you saved the original app form, you should be able to access it. If not, you'll have to wait! Well, either way, I guess you'll have to wait.

My agora has no such update...according to grad cafe last year they accepted a bunch then a couple days later waitlisted a bunch more. I guess I'll just hope to be waitlisted!

I don't know that a decision in the mail is good. If you look at GradCafe, they notified all their acceptances last year by email.... and their rejections by mail.

There have been other school (UW-M) who say they only mail decisions, but then send acceptances by email.
