How to argue the early deadline of an offer?

They know what's going on so they'll expect some students to withdraw after accepting. If you do get end up getting a better offer you should withdraw straight away though because there are sure to be others waiting for funding.

I was in a similar situation last year with UBC as another school, which I would have preffered to attend, strongly hinted that they'd provide me with funding but weren't going to announce until the start of April; well after UBC's deadline. I very nearly rejected UBC and i'm glad that I didn't because the other school didn't come through in the end.

I have a similar situation with Uconn AREC MS. They want to me accept by March 16th. Not sure I can do that.
I have asked for an extension, but so far, no word.
