That response was cold.
So now that I have my admit at Texas, I have been somewhat emboldened to inquire about my status at one of my still open schools that started making admission decisions a long time back.....
I didnt directly ask about my particular status, instead I asked where the committee was in making their decisions.....(specifically asking if all admission decisions that had a chance at funding had been made).....
this was the reply I received:
FYI...this guy was the first to apply. Sounds like he's gotten some rejections?
(I imagine that was expected to go to the committee, not mekinda funny though...)

Yes the email was not supposed to go to me......I got a more proper response a minute ago.....I dont know if that first email was about me or not? It might make sense, since I applied there really early.....
The secretary said that he/she was answering three emails at once and got confused.

Crazy application season leads to crazy occurrences...
> The double-reject from UCLA.
> wind up bird's rejection-admission to NWU
> BC's "you're too good for us" rejection letter
> Chicago's positive waitlist notification
and now this? Working admissions must be stressful.
