Just wondering if anyone's received a rejection from U Washington-Seattle.
I know they're trickling out admissions via secretive conversations and what not--has anyone gotten the boot?

Thought they seem to be highly ranked, I have heard the most negative things about UW; more than all other schools I'm interested in by far. There are so many rumors and ideas. It seems that the one about their PhD program being diluted by their masters program is false, it appears they don't have a masters program, but I recently found mention of it on their web-site: surprise. Also the high failure rates... hard to know what is true with that. And it sounds as though their way of accepting people is quite odd... I'm still waiting to hear from them, but I wouldn't know what to do with an acceptance if I got one at this point.

Haven't heard anything yet either, though I'm not expecting to be admitted.
Accepted: Oregon($?), Kentucky($?), NCSU(no$)
Rejected: Iowa, Arizona State, UNC-CH, Vanderbilt
Still Waiting: U of Washington

They certainly have one of the most inefficient admission processes, that's for sure
