    Fly-out Tips for Unfunded Admits

I was wondering if you guys had some tips for unfunded students who will go to flyouts in terms of increasing the chances of getting funded, or getting at least a tuition waver for the first year. Thanks in advance

This completely depends on the school. You're best off directing any funding questions to the graduate secretary on the visit day.

Secretary, IMO. They typically know the policies and/or people who make decisions and/or reality of running the departments. But it's only a marginal win.
Adding "-ism" to any word just makes it sound bad.

Ex: macroeconomicism, developmentalism, graduate schoolism, sappyism, etc. etc.
