    Don't know much about Florida.

Singmeat got into FRED last year, but said that they could not fund anybody because of a budget crisis. Not sure if that is true for this year.

Thanks very much, guys. I will post my profile soon after my TM-induced insecurity fully wears off, but feel free to PM me if you are interested in any of my stats.

They offered you a very generous stipend. I presume you are still leaning toward ASU?

One thing I wanted to say that may be of interest to people here. I learned from a Professor at Cornell AEM that the program does not admit student's without a Masters' directly into the PhD program. For someone with just a BA, the best possible outcome when applying to the PhD program is an MS admit. In such cases, if the person's grades are fine and they pass the first-year MS examination, they usually are allowed to enter the PhD.

I feel that they should have put this information on their website. I would not have applied had I known that a PhD admit was impossible.
