ariel1987
Are you foreign or US citizen? I have no idea about what hopes should I have if I am still alive, being an International. It seems like they rejected quite a lot of students, but no idea how big is the applicant pool.
behavingmyself
I haven't gotten the Dreaded Email yet either. It can't hurt to still be alive now, but it looks from Grad Cafe like they typically keep rejecting people all the way up through April 15th, so there's still plenty of time for them to shatter all our hopes and dreams. For what it's worth, I'm American with a last name late in the alphabet.
Exodus
I haven't received any reply either. I'm international applicant also. I don't really know what it means. Anybody does?

Lachis
I am also an international applicant and still alive... have no idea what this means, but since rejections can continue coming until April 15th, I guess we better not consider ourselves in yet. ariel1987
Sorry to hear this guys!:( I might be next one, I think... However, as Internationals, I think we have already made it to a second round, if it helps at all...

behavingmyself
It looks like Cornell started sending out funded acceptances on the Thursday of this week last year. I think someone mentioned that their committee was meeting this week, so my guess is that at least somebody will start getting good news before too long. Even after the first acceptances come out, though, most remaining applicants will still be in limbo if previous years are any indication. birchtbarlow
Count me as still in limbo. I'm from the U.S. too.

claphands
any particular reason why this thread was bumped, it doesn't seem to apply to this year's cycle? I assume the person who bumped it searched for Cornell and didn't notice that the thread was from 2010
