health economics book recommendations please
hi, i'm leaning toward specializing in health economics eventually and would like to start the long decision process asap, so i was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for me as far as books are concerned.

May I recommend: Strained Mercy - Table of Contents, written by a fairly famous economist in the health area. It's available entirely for free online, to boot!

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend much in the way of books aside from the Handbook, which isn't really a book anyway. Not many fields have decent textbooks at the graduate level.
To the OP: are you more interested in demand or supply? I could scrounge up my syllabi from one or both classes if you'd like lists of recommended articles to read by top guys in the field. |
