walt526, I have actually been thinking of that program.However,as you also mentioned,I have to wait another year and by that time I think I would be too old to be admitted to PhD programs.
I am in predicament about whether my present profile would get me in any grad program.If not, is it worthwhile to wait another year,given the age factor? Are there any diploma programs in mathematics in canada? |

How about Irish univs? (I have got some good impression from them, even though they are relatively unknown and/or looked down here)
I know that you will find less infos about Irish univs in this board. Furthermore, many TMers do not think that Irish univs are well regarded as good univs in Europe. However, if you are interested in macro side, specially in international macro, then Irish univs, such as UCD, and TCD, are not that bad option for you ( given your background and result of previous applied schools.) Some good profs, like Philip Lane, are in TCD or UCD, so you will not be so wrong if you can stick to them. |

@econgute, thanks for the information.I previously thought of applying to those places.But I am not sure because of political difficulties and relatively uknown institutes and there is no information about the labour market outcomes of graduates from those places.
