How to pick between the different LSE programs?

Is the MSc Economics program inferior than the MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics program?

It seems that one can already get a PhD from LSE via MSc Economics + MRes/PhD. What are the advantages of the MSc EME program?

Can someone please give insight for the following programs?

1)In some ways it is. Econ people really do not have so much choice. They only have one option, whereas EMEs have two. And two options can equal 4 courses in other departments. The cohort is stronger. The name sounds better :P
2)No, both EME and Econ people are guaranteed a place on the PhD, subject to distinction - i.e. they are given a conditional offer automatically on application.
3)MSc F&E is a strong programme in the finance department with a great placement. It's the most respected programme in the finance department and has a very good placement. MSc Fin Maths is a money making course that's new. MSc Stats is good, but the stats depatment is not so great. Actually you can tailor MSc Stats very well... But look at the website.
