srtalukdar
Hello, I have a Bachelor's degree in Physics, a Master's in Social Work both from India, a Master's in Mathematics from a US university, and currently enrolled for PhD Econ program in a US university. But i am not really impressed with the areas of research here. So I am looking to move to a different program. My profile is: UG GPA 3.6 Grad GPA 3.8 GRE Quant 750, verbal 510, AWA awaited. My Math background is fairly strong. I have taken advanced level Math (Calculus, Algebra – both Abstract and Linear, Real Analysis, Topology up to advanced levels), Stats, Econometrics, Time Series classes. But somehow my GRE score does not reflect my quant strength.I have one year working experience with one of the leading NGOs in India in Development sector. Given my profile can anyone suggest me some good PhD programs where I stand a chance to get into. Please give me you valuable suggestions. Thanks.
