Will taking the GMAT help at all?

Since I'm constantly grasping for ways to make my application better at the last minute, I was curious as to whether a great GMAT score alongside a great GRE score would have any admissions impact.

I want to throw in a couple of business-school PhD programs for backup. Will solid GMAT performance boost my chances enough to offset the $250 fee + the general inconvenience of prepping for a standardized test?

most business schools also accept the GRE so you won't have much of an advantage (or disadvantage) depending on how you see it..

If you are applying to B-schools, the GMAT is a good idea. But, if your GRE is 800Q, and decent V and AWA scores, it's prob not worth the hassle and $250 fee
