SOP for Ag Econ different than Econ??

I was wondering how different is the statement of purpose for Ag Econ than regular Econ. I am applying for both programs, and not quite sure how to differentiate the statement of purpose for the two programs.

I tried to look it up on previous posts, but couldn't find one. What should I be focusing on more for my Ag Econ essay?

Gecko 's dreams are becoming reality.
my opinion only - take the econ statement of purpose, cut out any parts that say you wanna work on pure theory (or anything that suggests such) and switch it to something more applied

Yeah, I applied to both econ and ag econ departments and there's not really a huge difference between the two. The only real difference is when you get to the part about the "research matches" between you and the department obviously.
