2011 Waitlist status changes

Any news on Minnesota?
They seem to have a long waitlist. I was wondering if anyone has been admitted from the WL.

I am waiting on UT-Austin for admission and OSU for funding. Has anyone heard from either school? Does anyone know from past admissions seasons when second offers come from those schools?

I have been offered an admission at NYU. I was waitlisted before. Will turn LSE and PSU down soon. Hope that helps someone here.

No, I was not able to attend the flyout, but I did visit the department last week. I liked the place a lot, even though I am partial to big cities. And I mean big, since I think Boston doesn't count. I have no idea how many offers they made, sorry.

Hi alice! I don't know if this helps, because I was waitlisted at Brown as well, but I told them I didn't want to keep my name on the list...

There has been an offer extended off the UC Berkeley wait list. No first year funding, guaranteed after that. Have no idea if this is one of several or just one.

Just now I got an E-mail from NYU asking me whether I am still willing to be considered for admissions and saying that if some people decline the admission offer, then they can make offer from the wait list.
So I should wait another week for an admission offer.
And I didnt hear from UPenn waitlist.
