Notified through: automated email regarding admission at the beginning of this month. Today, I just received an email regarding funding!

Posted on GC: admission yes but funding not yet.

Comments: My first offer... What a good start for this season! I might attend if I did not get into one of the top-50 programs I applied to. Funding is good giving the living standards in SC.

Comments: Got an email saying that they needed to call me and ask me a minor question about my application.... Then he just said I was admitted. Whew.

Comments: Email asking if there was a good time to ask a minor question about my application, called me the next day to say I had been admitted in their first round. First decision, first admission, and one of my top choices. It’s a relief, and should provide some hope to anyone with a less-than-stellar profile.
