2015app
I've started this admission season badly with a rejection from UCL MRes. Has anyone here been admitted yet? Also if there's anyone who was rejected what do you fancy your chances are of ending up with a good admit? I must say I'm pretty worried now. Also, does anyone know if UCL MRes admits are mostly from the MSc program? Any previous admits here in TMland?
econapp2014
Do you have a master's degree in Economics? They will reject applicants without a master right away.
MR14
Got rejected by UCL last year too, two weeks after applying. Ended up with plenty of funded offers.. Dont worry, rejections happen to all of us.
2015app
Yeah I already have a masters in econ. @MR14 Thanks for the reassuring words. Let's hope things work out well.
econphd2015
I'm waiting for the results to come! When did you apply (the second referee sent her letter)? Good luck on the other applications!

While the website is pretty unambiguous, I'm not sure its true for US applicants. I spoke with someone there who mentioned that they are aware that US applicants may apply with only a Bachelor's degree.

QuantMacro
Are you sure that did not refer to UCL's MSc? I specified that my application was to the MRes/PhD program.
2015app
I'm waiting for the results to come! When did you apply (the second referee sent her letter)? Good luck on the other applications! I applied sometime in December. At this point I think no news is good news so maybe you've got a better chance.
