chrisarg72
Hey I was wondering how it is looked upon when applying if you get a recomendation from a TA?
chateauheart
Don't. I understand you may not have many options (or are just applying to master's), but it's still essential to get someone who has at least completed a PhD program. Thanks, what about a TA who has completed their PhD, the person in question was my TA a few years ago and has since graduated.
evergreen
If they're an Assistant Professor now, it's borderline okay (they are evaluating you when they were a student, so it's still not the best signal). If they are a post-doc, still think it's not okay.
