bookworm4life
I have noticed that most of the Agricultural Economics PhD programs that I have seen require a masters degree for admission. What is the reason for this being the case in these programs but not in pure econ programs? Aren't these programs more focused on specific micro topics? If so, wouldn't less broad of an education be required?
