therealslimkt
Is a full year sequence in analysis important for signalling? The course I'm considering not taking is the second course in our analysis sequence and has the following description: "Multivariable calculus , including differential mapppings, the inverse and implicit fucntion theorems, integration in higher dimensional space, fundamental theorm of calculus, Lebesgue measure, Fubini's theorem, change of variables formula and Fourier analysis." pulsars
Yeah, it will be useful for signalling. Take it if you have the space, though unless you're a theorist all you need is the first semester of analysis.
tm_member
If your math grades are solid, focus on getting some research experience and take some field classes with active researchers in your dept.
