Jhai is almost a TestMagic guru.
You'll want to use your SoP to clearly show why you're changing fields and that you understand and like economics. A very good statement which shows economic knowledge will help decrease the problems with having few/no econ courses.

Have your recs emphasive your quantitative ability and critical reasoning skills, if you can, as those are the things that will matter to admissions committees.

Yea, my SoP will demonstrate my non academic Econ knowledge.
