I've heard the NRC is about to update its rankings -- will it do so in time for our April decisions?

And what about US News? Will they be updating the econ rankings next year?

NRC is in the process of doing the surveys to update its rankings. I doubt they'll be done by April. I don't know about US News, but placement in the last 3-5 years, completion rates and faculty in your general fields of interest are much more useful than the US News rankings.
