This is kind of strange; did they seriously send out THIS video to people they admitted (last year or before)?

Without looking at gradcafe, I'll say this... Last year, Harvard called their admits on the phone. If I remember random posts correctly, Antichron was in an econometrics class when a Harvard prof called him. Admits from top schools will come all at once... they admit what's regarded as the best of the best, and they compete amongst each other for these students.

If you see 11 seemingly distinct posts in an evening, it might be legit. Otherwise, I'd bet money that it's crap (and I'm highly, highly risk averse).

i am skeptical about these posts. a great many users of gradcafe seem to use TM. whenever there is ANY legit admit on gradcafe it is shortly followed by an "i'm in at..." post on TM.

I am unconvinced that all 11 people posting on gradcafe have never used TM, or are too shy. However, if one person verifies there post then...

Haha. Yeah. We got that video last year, and it became pretty much a year long joke. (Stanford showed us that video during their fly-out.) I love that spoof. It's awesome. :-)
