Does anyone know whether those schools already made decisions??
I know that Grad cafe has a few postings, but it does not give much info in detail.
I am really worried since I have not heard anything from any school yet.....
Please share the info.

If last year is a good guide as to when these schools make decisions, then no, those probably aren't real. Yale should be around Feb. 27, Princeton around March 8, Berkeley around March 3. Basically, none of these places sends anything about before the end of February.

princeton moved their date up this yr, i think. so you might want to keep that in mind...

berkeley has made at least one decision. my friend was admitted a week ago . i do not want to disclose her profile, but i know she was admitted into econ phd at berkeley.

Princeton only moved up its deadline this year to reduce the number of incomplete applications. They still didn't start compiling applications till early January.

Did they? I thought the deadline was 1 December, as before. Actually, I was even worried about one recommendation letter which would arrive later than that date and which may/might thus jopardize my chances of being considered for admission

Thanks for the info daageep. Would you mind telling us how she was notified? Is she a student there and found out through informal channels, or was she sent some sort of official notification from the department?

Yale decisions likely to be emailed the 22nd or 23rd, or early following week. harvard slightly behind in terms of timing of decisions, not sure how long it takes them to email out once decisions are made though.

Harvard already has 11 posts on grad cafe within the past week. What do you guys think? Are those real?
