How many people still haven't heard from Northwestern?

At least 9 Testmagic-ers haven't heard anything yet...if it's a wait list, it is a long one (bare in mind that Testmagic-ers are not a representative sample of the universe).

Where did we get the idea we're on a wait list? I have seen very very few acceptances...I would interpret our "no news" as good news at this point. We've survived the Russian roulette game so far.

I didn't hear directly from Northwestern...had to log onto their application status check to get my rejection...oh well!

I've still got UCI with tuition and 15.6k for 15 quarters

OK, here's the real question: if we haven't heard from Northwestern yet, does this mean that we've gotten past the first round of rejections and are now on the waitlist? Or could it simply mean that Northwestern hasn't finished making its initial round of rejections?
