Davis ARE admits?

Has anyone heard back from Davis ARE? I've seen a grand total of two posts on GradCafe, and that was before I got a response to an email that they were still going through applications (several weeks before, in fact.)

I would have thought that I would have received something by now, seeing that invitations were sent to the Open House in the middle of Feburary (I got a paid flyout offer and thought it was a good sign). Now it's 11 days until D-Day and I still haven't heard anything (probably a bad sign.)

I got an acceptance dated Mar 16 (email). I've just decided to decline it so I hope it helps if you're in the waiting list.

Some folks I met at the Open House got acceptances or rejections in mid-March, others never heard anything. I assume that means they were de facto waitlisted, but don't know.

I finally worked up the nerve to call the graduate secretary. She said that decisions are still being made before looking at my file. Then, she came back with the bad news. Good bye Davis, hello Columbus.

I got a call around the last week of February with an acceptance. Did all of you go to the Open House event?

I got a "you will likely be rejected" email from Davis ARE on March 29th, so if you have not gotten anything from them yet it probably means that you are still on the waitlist. The email mentioned that the official notifications of rejection would be sent out on April 15th. Hope that helps and good luck.
