Do you have a source or confirmation on that one? I'd heard of the offer, but didn't know that anything had happened. NYU doesn't list him as coming this year: New York University>Department of Economics

Well I heard about the offer some time ago, then heard that it was being seriously considered and here Microeconomic Theory in Canada - Forthcoming seminars they list him as coming from NYU to the seminar (check Friday, 9 November 2007).

I'm not sure how accurate seminar listings are -- sometimes if a person is visiting a place they're listed ad coming from there. Interesting nonetheless...

To my knowledge there is nothing definitive just yet. This is the third year he visits nyu. He spends monday to thursday at H and thursday to friday at nyu.
