4837 is the GRE code for UCLA (I'm not even applying, just went to their website and found it in 2 seconds) and from what I have seen elsewhere I think most schools have the same GRE and TOELF codes (i'm not international)

The econ code is ALWAYS 1801

Some depts don't require a dept code, so sometimes it is 0000. I'm fairly sure that even if you entered department code 1801 it'd be fine though....

I got en e-mail from University of Minnesota, and it says:

"The institution code is: 6874 and the department code is: 84."

So the department code is not always 1801, apparently. Though it does say 1801 on their website, so perhaps the e-mail was a mistake..

Thanks! I don't know why I cannot find it on their website, so I only have to locate it from the GRE Bulletin.

You mean for GRE, I guess 84 for econ may be the code for TOEFL?
