My brother was applying to schools for engineering Masters a few years ago, and for the fly out, they set them up in really nice hotels and bought them all Broadway tickets. Maybe the econ dept. will do something similar?

I would have said something like, ...so, how does it go again, fixed exchange rate means fiscal policy is good or is it monetary policy, I always forget and I thought I'd drop by and ask you in person... wanna accept me in your program? ![]() |

hehe I'm actually quite happy with CU as it was actually, along with NYU, my top choice among the 4 I applied this year.
Wish you guys luck choosing programs. I really hate choices I spent days choosing if I should go work for NERA or CRA, then NERA or grad school, then OSU or UMD without funding, then OSU and GWU ![]() Last edited by stupidolive : 03-04-2008 at 06:15 PM. Reason: :"> |

Columbia is a great school, with good and famous faculty and in a great place. The only problem is that their placements are not that great, but still I think that you shouldn't worry about this. I wish I got into Columbia
