I wish I knew when Berkeley ARE was sending decisions. Nobody seems to talk much about them on these boards and the gradcafe entries are pretty sparse.

Sadly, no, my buddy. Neither at NYU Stern. I am just "waiting for the boot" from both places. They already notified their admitted candidates. I am simply not one of them.

They're listed as "Waiting" because I already know that their decisions have been made and communicated (for the specific programs I applied to...Op Mgmt at Sloan and Econ at Stern), but I have received no news so far. Those programs will get out of the list as soon as the application status changes from "under review" to something else. It's not a waiting list by any means. It's a situation of "highly likely reject", more than anything else.

I would have to list UCLA there as well, but since I called the secretary and confirmed the post-interview decision over the phone ("off the admit list"), I can confidently put it as a reject.

My hopes are on UCSD and Brown, simply because they have not massively notified anyone yet (just a couple of early admits, nothing else).

Also, only one program has informed me so far. I found a slew of rejections via website for UMD today on gradcafe so I checked and found that it says under mine "Pending Decision". Does this mean I am on the waitlist?

Nope. Pending Decision just means that no decision has been posted for you. Mine has said that for months.
