This confusing email seems to me like the nastiest reject.

"A message is in the process of being sent to you regarding your application for admission. To retrieve your message, please go to the online admission web site and access your application after March 7, 2008. Please contact the Economics program if you have any questions regarding this decision."

That is strange...it looks like a mass email. I could have been sent to both rejects and admits though

Yale did that for those who are rejected.

For me, I think Northwestern is even nastier because they don't even bother to send you an email of their decisions! You have to gather the rumors from here and check the website by yourself...

I got the same e-mail from Davis, and I already received an e-mail that I was accepted. I can't, however, figure out if there's somewhere to look now or if I really have to wait until March 7 to confirm.
