Glasgow
Hi guys,
I know that usually the discussion centres around top 25 or top 50 universities, yet I wanted to ask you what the opinion about Glasgow is, especially regarding macro and their new PhD program in macroeconomics. To my background, I'm a european student graduating with a quite decent bachelor in economics and I am highly interested in macroeconomics. I have read other threads concerning UPF, Tinbergen and Warwick and would consider those universities for Master's degree as well, but I am not sure if I will get accepted. Thanks for your help. Glasgow probably is "hot" place for development practitioners. NOt exactly sure how it came to be. One of my colleagues (who is working in a development project) once mentioned in the passing that a lot of their foreign supervisors (European) commends Glasgow's development focus.
