Tuition rate for Cornell AEM (2nd Year)
I was just going over the program schedule of the MSc program at Cornell AEM (Applied Economics and Management/Cornell), and observed that I would not (technically) have to take any courses in the 2nd year. Therefore, my only involvement with the department would be writing the thesis.
In that case, would I have to pay the entire annual tuition (USD 20,800) i.e. the tuition rate for the 1st year (Applied Economics and Management/Cornell). From my limited knowledge about US education systems, I believed that tuition is dependent upon the no. of credit hours/courses that one enrolls in. I emailed the grad assistant but she refuses to specify this matter, stating that 2009-2010 fees have not been finalized yet. Somebody from Cornell might be able to clear this up.
