I'm on a wait list for funding. Have others declined their funded offers?

I got accepted at UIUC, presumably from a waitlist since my admit came pretty late. They offered me their standard TAship funding package. I have declined their offer, as I will be attending OSU.

I was accepted from the waitlist at Georgetown, and got the same financial package as everyone else. And I am waiting on the BC waitlist, also on the UT-Austin financial aid waitlist. It sucks

Valfierno what did you tell Georgetown? I got off the waitlist at Georgetown too and got full funding, but since I had to decide before I found out about funding at UT and Wisconsin, I turned them down. They said if the other two
offers don't work out they could work something out for me.

I hope I get off the waitlist for $$ at Wisconsin, but I won't find out from them until after other people turn down funded offers. Texas said they can't say anything about funding until after today.

Well, they haven't sent me the official letter of acceptance and when I asked yesterday when was the official deadline for me to reply to the offer, they said that I still had about a week to decide, but that they would appreciate it if I could let them know as soon as possible.

I'm hopping to hear from BC soon, and decide what to do, I'm still struggling between going to BC or Georgetown, and I basically gave up hope on UT.

I wouldn't give up hope on UT yet. They usually give wait list offers after the 15th. Best of luck in your decision!

Thanks bertthepuppy, there is still a little part of me that maintain hope, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up, so if I don't get financial aid it won't hit me so hard.

Good luck to you too. Hopefully will get where we both want to go, and if we're really lucky maybe will be classmates this August, it would be fun to have a fellow TMer around
