If most take 5-6 yrs to graduate, some take longer, some drop out or graduate in four, that gives you a program size of roughly 100 students, which I'd guess is a rough focal point, so it doesn't surprise me that low 20s is common. Of course some programs have more/less capacity. |

Well now I propose another reason smaller classes might be good : profs need L and if the class size is small relative to the faculty, the marginal failed student actually enters in the profs utility... and thats always good!
