SAS help!
Hello, all!
I have a data set which is supposed to be on a weekly basis. However, not all "weeks" are 7 days long. My goal is to create a new data set from the existing one which has 7-days long week periods (interpolate?) using EXPAND PROC in SAS. I have found some info explaining interpolating irregular observations. It is an example of a sample taken at irregular dates. Does anyone know how to do it with time-frames instead of only time-points? Thanks in advance! |

You could just use nested do-loops with the "output" statement in a data step to create all the hypothetical 7-day weeks you need, then merge your actual data onto the hypothetical, leaving you with blanks on days when nothing happened.
