Rea3 analysis is not mandatory, but it is good to have for top schools as it prepares you for grad school to a certain extent. But you should take courses like Calc 3, Linear algebra, Statistics, etc. Many schools consider these courses bare minimum. If you have taken these courses, then you should be ready to apply. There are rarely any alternative ways for these courses.

I second Bayern. In addition, a first course in probability is also considered to be a basic requirement for Econ PhD by numerous departments of good repute.

Have you taken Calc3 or Multivariate calculus. Usually that course is prior to real analysis, so i think you should consider that.
You could also prove to the admission comittee that you are capable of handling math with a LOR from a math professor that could talk about your math ability.

I am also in the same position as you are... I will be taking analysis and math modelling in the fall. When the transcripts go out, the schools will see those courses as "in progress" in my transcript. I should get all my results by the end of december or first week of january. I plan on sending my updated transcript immediately, and hopefully some schools will accept that, because I doubt the adcoms sit together during the christmas and new years eve. I will also mention that in my SOP. I have also heard some schools do ask again for an updated transcript. So, if you are taking some courses in the fall, you need not worry about that.
