LSE MSc late applications
Hey TMs,
a friend of mine applied for lse masters (finance and economics in the 1st choice) relatively late - i think it has been 3 weeks ago or so that his application has been considered complete, could be 4 weeks though. i myself have applied in april for the same programme and got admitted after 3-4 weeks. now the availability status of the program changed to "limited availability" on the lse and he is wetting his pants. his profile is not as strong as mine (which is again only medicore compared to some us-phd applicants here on TM), but it by far should be sufficient for that master thing. does anyone know how lse are processing their applications in this case? will it be considered at all? cheers --- edit: oh im sorry, this is probably the wrong board. in this case: moderators, could you please move it to the right one? --- |

hi,
i was referring to the MSc in Finance and Economics (Limited Availability) and as i wrote, the status has been set to limited availability 1 week ago, while the guy applied about 3 weeks ago. i would guess that this means the program is full already and they are only will accept those late applicants if accepted students decline their offer. but i have absolutely no clue if its really like that - thats why im asking. thanks and regards Last edited by nagger : 07-01-2008 at 08:09 PM. |
