Yes, I think that the Koopmans and TUSP are mutually exclusive.

Tilburg is really good for Econometrics and Micro theory. Trade is strong too. But it is a bit weak in Macro, especially development.

And now I'd like to ask, 5K euros is enough for living expenses in Tilburg???
According to this:

Tilburg University - Cost of Living

EUR 5K will not b enough. However, University estimates are always a bit inflated IMHO. Someone who did his MPhil from Tilburg told me that he had to spend approx. 500 per month (inclusive of rent). My best guess is that you'll need around 2K in tuition and 2K in living expenses per year.

veroniquaz is almost a TestMagic guru.
while Tilburg might be cheap, living on 2K sounds a bit absurd, 5 is definitely more reasonable

I apologize for creating this confusion. In actuality, I was referring to an additional EUR 2K in living expenses (in addition to the existent 5K).

Another question: When you say "placement", what you mean?? You 're talking about Job market (assistant Professor, Researcher, etc) ?? or you are refering to application to Phd in economics??
