Poli-science PhD???

Hi everyone, I got an offer from Claremont graduate university (PhD political science) . I do not know if I should take it. What do you know about that university?

Depends on what you want to do and what other offers you have. If you're looking to teach at a research school like a UC or even another small liberal arts school, CGU might not work for you. You could do community college professorship. Having said that, CGU is a lower tier ranked school, probably in the bottom 50 out of a 100. There are some professors like Jacek Kugler there, but the truth is it's not a particularly strong program for training professors; though you might get a shot at a think tank. Hope this helps.
