Personally, I didn't take any SAT Test Prep at Test Magic for the SAT I. (I would have, but I called about it during one of their breaks and ended up taking a course at Princeton Review. BAD IDEA!) But anyway, I took the March 2005 SAT, and I scored a 2120 (1410 Math + Verbal). 720 M, 690 R, 710 W.
I'm going to take it again sometime next fall because I'm disappointed with my Math score... and my essay subscore (9). But of course, I was born in San Francisco and English is my first language.
My advice for anyone who is thinking of taking a test prep: DO NOT TAKE SOMETHING LIKE KAPLAN OR PRINCETON REVIEW!!!They don't concentrate on what you need to know. I wasted my money on Princeton Review when all they went over were things I didn't need to know. But to each his own, I guess.
and now, off to study for the AP US History Test... btw, I had private tutoring in US History, and I feel prepared to a certain extent, but not super prepared... but then again, I didn't do much reading during the school year, so it's understandable.
